Soloberry will be donating blueberries this week to events across Kent as local charity plans a week of activities to raise awareness of sight loss and the importance of good eye health

Kent Association for the Blind is planning an exciting week of events to coincide with National Eye Health Week running from 24-30 September 2018

Rachel Montague-Ebbs, Group Head of Brand and Communications explains, “At SoloBerry we are committed to making the world a healthier place, one berry at a time. Blueberries are one of our favourites because they are so nutrient rich, the super healthiest of snacks! We are proud to be supporting KAB during National Eye Health Week by providing samples of these incredibly tasty berries that pack a vitamin punch!”

It's no secret that blueberries are packed with antioxidants but did you know they pack a punch for overall eye health and wellness, too? Many studies have shown that blueberries may help to reduce your risk of cataracts, glaucoma, heart disease, cancer, and other conditions.

The charity will be having information stands across the county to raise awareness of sight loss and the importance of good eye health.
